Visceral is a good way of describing HWM. It's all good, in a high-octane sort of way. This particular track is a heartfelt tribute to the Florida microradio station which opened its doors especially wide to the local music scene.

"Free Radio Gainesville" was released on the band's fourth album; over their 10-year career (as of 2004) they've released several albums and singles - and have had quite a label ride, going from No Idea to Epitaph and back again.

Yet the have managed to lose none of the energy nor the ethic that's gotten them this far. Props to a former member of Free Radio Memphis for sharing.
